The Afghanistan Rural Enterprise Development Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/AREDP) is determined to create job opportunities in the near future for 376 local people across 28 districts of Parwan, Nangarhar, Bamyan, Balkh and Herat provinces.
The 376 rural people (180 men and 196 women) will be hired by the Afghanistan Rural Enterprise Development Program through a transparent and open competitive process. Once hired, they will carry out activities in 747 villages of the provinces mentioned above. This way, AREDP aims to facilitate economic activities in rural communities and grow rural enterprises.
Enhancing opportunities for sustainable employment in rural communities for jobless youth and growing of economic activities would be the main impacts of this project.
