A group of artists on Monday painted murals depicting security forces on walls inside the NATO Resolute Support Mission headquarters in Kabul.
According to the artists, their aim is to try to support the security forces and close the gap between troops and the people.
"By this move, we spoke with NATO officials and invited them to paint with us. We want to act as a bridge between them and the Afghan people," said Omid, an artist.
"Our friends and colleagues want to support the Afghan security forces through their art," another artist said.
Meanwhile, NATO officials appreciated the move by the artists.
A U.S Army soldier who attended the event, said: "I think it is a wonderful project. They are trying to do good things and make sure that the people of Afghanistan get a voice," a NATO officer said.
