Contract worth 503 million and 800 thousand Afghanis for 23 development projects was signed between Nasir Ahmad Durrani the ministry of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) and local construction companies.
These projects include: construction and graveling of 119 km road, maintenance 196 km of rural roads, construction of 347 meters of bridge, construction of two water networks with storage installing and drilling of two research wells that will be implemented through National Rural Access , Water Supply and Regional Programs of MRRD in Baghlan , Badakhshan , Farah , Bamyan ,Logar , Jawizjan ,Samangan ,Panchshear ,Ghor , Takhar , Daikundy ,Paktika and Nooristan provinces. Upon the completion of these projects, (240785) labour days will be created and 102 thousand and 699 rural families will gain access to necessary facilities. Addressing those at the signing ceremony while expressing the readiness of the Ministry for the provision of facilities for the Companies the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry, Asked them to implement the projects with good quality and on specified time. Durrani announced the beginning work of Citizen’s Charter program in next year and consume of 73 percent of the development budget, and at the end he answered the journalists’ questions.
