Provision of water for two thousand Villagers

With the implementation of a water supply project of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Paktika province, the shortage of drinking water of two thousand residents has been solved.


This project includes excavation of 15 water wells with hand pump installation that has been completed at a cost of 1 million and 23 thousand AFN including 10% community contribution, through the National Water Supply, Sanitation and Irrigation program of MRRD in Bak khail village of Zarghoon district of Paktika province. 
Approximately, 1,988 villagers received opportunity to gain access to drinking water upon completion of this projects.
