On March 29, 2016, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) took examination from qualified candidates for appointment in grade 2 post (Provincial Rural Rehabilitation and Development Director) under the Capacity Building for Results (CBR) program.
More than 161 applicants from across the country were participated in the exam for the Capacity Building for Results (CBR). After the evaluation of the examination papers for each post, the 34 top scoring, most committed and well educated applicants will be chosen as Provincial Rural Rehabilitation and Development Directors for 34 provinces of the country.
The examination process was attended by several members of parliament, civil society, commissioners of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) and Director of CBR from Ministry of Finance.
The Capacity Building for Results Program (CBR) was formed in 2012 by the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) with the aim to assist the government in improving the capacity and performance of core Line Ministries in carrying out their mandates and delivering efficient and quality services to the Afghan people. The CBR strives to promote accountability in the Line Ministries (LM) and other government institutions by introducing Results Based activities and implementing public policy. CBR also strengthens and enables the public service departments to reduce reliance on external aid and parallel structures.
