Kabul - H.E. Dr. Nasir Ahmad Andisha Deputy Foreign Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended to the meeting of International Relations Commission of Wolesi Jirga this afternoon.
At the outset, the chairman of the commission welcomed the participants and their accompanying delegation and then raised questions regarding various issues, including Bilateral Security and Defense Agreement with the United States of American and other important issues.
In this meeting, Mr. Andisha talked about some issues of interests and in part of his speech stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has supervisory role towards bilateral agreement with the United States and has always been in contact with the relevant authorities of U.S. government in issues related to political and diplomatic aspects, as well as this ministry maintained proper coordination with other relevant ministries and organizations of Afghanistan.
Mr. Andisha also briefed the members of this commission on Warsaw conference and added that efforts are underway to encourage and attract further assistance by donor countries for the coming years, and currently the relevant institutions are working together for this conference.
