Afghan President's visit to Herat province


President Ghani has traveled to Herat to express his condolences to the families of the victims of the attack on the Javadia Mosque.



Deputy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Defense were accompanied by the President.

The president expressed sympathy and commended the Herat residents for standing united against the terrorists.

President Ghani also called on the people to support reforms the government is trying to make in the security forces, and the Herat governor assured the residents of the province that the security forces would take the revenge blood of the victims.

The governor called on the President to increase security forces and equipment in Herat Province.


Delegations of families of martyrs called on the president to arrest and punish the perpetrators of the attack on the Javadi Mosque. They also called for the Javadi Mosque to be rebuilt.

The head of Olama Shoora in west zonn of Afghanistan also assured the president that the Shia and Sunnis in Herat were equal and brotherly and that the enemy was defeated by the unity of the people of Herat.

The president called on the people to cooperate with the security forces. According to him, the perpetrators of the case will soon be arrested.
