Eight Insurgents Killed, 13 wounded In Three Provinces


At least 8 armed rebels were killed and 13 others were injured following joint clearing operations led by Afghan security forces in three provinces of the country within the last 24 hours.

 Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the operations were conducted to suppress armed rebels and protect lives and properties of people in insecure areas of northern Kunduz, Baghlan and Faryab provinces.
 Two barrel mines have been discovered and neutralized during the operations, the source added.
 Mullah Dadullah a commander of the terrorist group is among the victims of the operations.
 According to another report, Shir Ahmad a militant was joined to Afghan security forces in Jorm district, northern Badakhshan province.
