Six Afghan security officers that 5 days ago were abducted by Taliban militants have released during a tactic military operation in northern Sar-e-Pul province.
Mohammad Zahir Wahdat governor of Sar-e-Pul said, the operation was conducted by Afghan security forces in relevant areas of Sar-e-Pul-Jawzjan highway, in which the security personnel were released from grip of Taliban rebels.
Among six soldiers two of them partially were injured and shifted to hospital for treatment, Wahdat added.
It has been said, the security troops have beaten by armed oppositions during their hostage.
I am happy that now I am alive and free, said an abducted solider.
Six Taliban militants were killed and nine others were wounded during the operation as well, Wahdat concluded.
