Due to its valuable services, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Director of Paktika province obtained First Grade Appreciation Letter of the Presidential Office on July 6, 2014.
H.E. Mr. Wais Ahmad Barmak- Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development while handing over the Appreciation Letter to Mr. Najibullah Jahed, Rural Rehabilitation and Development Head of Paktika province, said:
Despite local challenges, during last two years the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Director of Paktika province has been able to reconstruct the 39 kilometer long rural roads in the districts of Surobi, Urgun, Sar Rawza and Gayan, dug 72 safe drinking water wells and construct 223 meter long irrigation channel benefiting 5600 rural families.
Thereby, his achievements are appreciated by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD). The MRRD requested from the Presidential Office to award him First Grade Appreciation Letter. The suggestion was approved; MRRD received the Appreciation Letter and handed it over to Mr. Jahed. Also, H.E. Barmak hoped his further successes in serving to the rural communities.
In return, Rural Rehabilitation and Development Director of Paktika province renewed his commitment for serving the rural communities and success implementation of development projects in the villages of Paktika province.
