Yesterday morning, Afghan National Police and Afghan National Army launched a joint clearance operation to clear Andar district of Ghazni province from the armed Taliban.
As a result of this joint operation, nine armed Taliban were killed and 14 others were wounded.
The operation still continues against terrorist militants in insecure villages of Qara Bagh District.
During this operation, two Afghan National Police officers were wounded and the joint forces seized some amount of light and heavy rounds of ammunition.
In a separate report, Afghan National Police repels armed Taliban attack in Arzo village, Andar District of Ghazni province, in which four armed Taliban were killed and no ANP and civilian was harmed.
