The final Super Four match of the Asia Cup between Afghanistan and India ended in a tie in Dubai city of the United Arab Emirates.
The Afghanistan National Cricket Team won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a target of 253 from 50 overs and by losing 8 wickets.
Mohammad Shahzad scored the highest runs for Afghanistan by opening the batting inning for Afghanistan by making 124 runs.
Other batsmen, Mohammad Nabi scored 64 runs, Najibullah Zadran 20, Gulbadin Naib 15, Rashid Khan 12, Javed Ahmadi 5, Rahmat Shah 3, and Aftab Alam 2 runs.
The Indian batsmen also scored 252 runs by losing all its wickets during and the match was announced as ‘Tie’ by the match referees.
Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, and Aftab Alam each took 2 wickets on the bowling side while Javed Ahmadi took 1 wicket.
Mohammad Shahzad was declared the man of the match for his outstanding performance on the batting side. He scored 124 runs from 116 balls and by hitting 11 fours and 7 sixes.
