A second section of the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Emergency Hospital was inaugurated after being provided with modern equipment, an official said on Wednesday.
The section has 20 beds, a pharmacy, an X-ray plant and a laboratory equipped with sophisticated machines, Deputy Minister of Public HealthDr. Abdul Baseer Sarwartold Pajhwok Afghan News.
In addition to improvement in health services, the department would enable patients to get treatment in Kabul instead of travelling abroad, he said.
Sarwar added 14 emergency hospitals equipped with modern facilities had been established in Kabul and different provinces of the country.
