Security brings development


agri-instituteKandahar province recently inaugurated a new agricultural institute with a capacity for 1,200 male and female students.

The new building has 36 rooms, administration offices, male and female residences, a dining room, technique and practice workshop rooms, playgrounds and one mosque.
“This institute will work as an agricultural university until the construction of the University of Agriculture is completed,” said Kandahar’s Deputy Governor Abdul Qadim Patyal.

Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Wais Ahmad Barmak explained that “now security is much better in the province, so this will bring more development projects to the region.”
