Chaired by President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, a meeting of the National Procurements Commission (NPC) approved 27 different contracts costing 8.8 billion and 184 thousand and six Afghanis, said a statement from his office the other day.

The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved $120 million in grants for Afghanistan and discussed the 2017-2020 Country Partnership Framework (CPF) that sets out the institution’s plans for supporting the country in ending poverty.

Led by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the National Procurements Committee (NPC) has signed 11 contracts at the cost of 5 billion Afghanis, said a statement from his office quoted by Bakhar News Agency said the other day.
