A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with Qatar on cooperation in the area of educational areas, the state-run news agency reported on Wednesday.
The MoU was signed between Ministers of Education Dr Mohammed Abdul Wahed Al-Hammadi and Dr Assad Hanif Balkhi, who is currently on a visit to Qatar.
Al-Hammadi and Balkhi, during a meeting, discussed cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, according to the Qatar News Agency.
Under the deal, the two countries will exchange expertise, experiences and visits, as well as the best practices in the education sector, the news agency reported.
Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Doha Dr. Muhammad Qasim Himmat and officials from Qatar’s Supreme Education Council also attended the meeting.
