National Security Forces supported by the International Forces get remarkable achievements, on daily basis, in ongoing military operations nationwide to suppress terrorist groups and to improve security.
In recent advance, more than 90 militants received casualties only in the Eastern Nangarhar province, during the past three weeks.
Police Chief of Nangarhar, Gen. Abdul Rahman Rahimi reported that the achievements occurred during 21 military operations in Achin, Kot, Haska Mina, Pachir Agam and other parts of the province: “During these operations, security forces also arrested 55 suspects and seized 35 weapons, 635 rounds, 11 vehicles, military uniforms and explosives related to enemies of peaceful Afghanistan. In addition, two mine planters were arrested on the spot”.
Police was able to solve 31 criminal cases. Gen. Rahimi stated: “41 people were arrested, including 3 kidnapers, 6 robbers and 5 others involved in killing”.
In addition, 106 kilograms narcotics seized and seven people were arrested in linking to the narcotics by police.
Meanwhile, 201 Selab Corps, Fourth Brigade Commander, Gen. Mohammad Naseem Sangeen informed that military operations entitled Selab7 are ongoing successfully. He reassured that “in good coordination with security organs and local elders, we do persisting efforts in order to clear the militants from the areas under our responsibility.”
Mirza Khan Wasim, a young activist appreciated security forces for their sacrifices of making the country powerful and peaceful. “We have the right to work for the improvement of our life, but terrorists can’t accept this. We need to be united against them and support our security forces.”
