The 7th SOK Commander Major Munib Amiry says, during these successful operations, Commando Forces have destroyed a huge drug center in Marja district of Helmand province, with 9000 kg of opium and 1250 kg of opium powder.

Amiry says the eliminating of the Taliban's financial resources and attacks on drug factories will continue.

Mr. Amiry says that the cause of these successfully operations are the civilians cooperation, strong military equipment and commando forces ability.

The eliminating of drug production factories will weaken the Taliban and will lead for permanent security in Helmand.

He adds that the Taliban's largest financial support and revenue are the drug production centers, and the Commando forces will continue their night raids and eliminating of the Taliban financial resources.

According to him, armed Taliban started the collection of poppy tax from the residents, and they have accurate evidence about it.

Major Amiry says, not only they will target the drug factories, but also they will continue the attacks the Taliban hideouts and key Taliban commanders.
