Fourteen construction projects for female police soldiers were opened by Ambassador of Korea and interior ministry officials in western Herat province. Herat deputy Chief of Police said the projects include the conversion of clothes, prayers, and the recruitment of children to the female police in Herat.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Interior's human rights department says that NATO forces have contributed a lot to the capacity and training of the Afghan National female Police.
Ambassador Korea in Afghanistan also said that the country has spent $ 100 million over the past six years on the growth of female police soldiers in the Afghanistan.
He added that the Republic of Korea will continue to provide assistance in this country.
On the other hand, a number of female police soldiers in Herat say that in the past they were facing a lot of problems, but they were fixed by the opening of new projects.
More than 300 female police are operating in western provinces.
