President announces 100 million Afghani for Ghazni development


President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani announced 100 million afghanis for implementation of development projects in southern Ghazni province.

In his meeting with the residents of Ghazni province, President Ghani said the relevant authorities have been instructed to ascertain the territorial limits of Ghazni city, better administration of water dams, construction of school buildings, agricultural development, resolving the issues of women, completion of Ghazni hostel, construction of educational park and grand mosque in Ghazni province.

He said 100 million Afghanis have been allocated for the projects and urged the residents of the province to coordinate with the provincial governor and local officials for the expenditure of the funds.

According to the Office of the President, ARG Palace, the provincial governor Wahidullah Kalimzai, provincial council chief Latifa Akbari, and deputy chief executive Eng. Mohammad Khan thanked President Ghani for his attention towards the general security situation of Ghazni province.

The participants of the meeting also added that people are tired war and demand an end to the ongoing conflict, emphasizing that the elders and representatives of various sects support the development project and demand transparent elections in this province.
